Walking

The hills and mountains in the area provide ample scope for hill walking and climbing, from leisurely woodland strolls to mountaineering! There are, of course, many Munros in the area for you to bag!

Cycling around Strathyre, Stirlingshire, perthshire, Callander

Cycling

National Cycle Route 7 runs from Callander to Balquhidder (and beyond), and stops opposite the Munro Inn in Strathyre. As well as this great track, the forest roads give other options for cyclists.

Fishing

There is trout and salmon fishing on numerous lochs and rivers in the area, including the River Balvaig, Loch Lubnaig, Loch Voil and Loch Earn.

Watersports

With all the lochs and rivers in the area, you'll be spoilt for choice for canoeing, kayaking, sailing, etc

Golf

There are a number of nine and eighteen hole courses in the area.
